About me
My name is Erika and I grew up in Stockholm and moved to Tokyo year 2015. With my love of fitness I joined my first gym at 16 and has been working out since.
With a year of crossfit internship, two years as a group class instructor and trainer at a gym in the center of Shibuya, and various courses of fitness and nutrition under my belt - I started to focus mainly on personal training as I wanted to focus on individuals one-on-one. As I am fluent in English, Japanese, and Swedish, I have experience in working with a big variety of clients around the world.
Aside from being a personal trainer, I am also a full-time fashion- and fitness model with numerous publications not only as a model but as a personal trainer in magazines like Women’s Health, VOGUE, Elle and NYLON. Aside from magazines, I have also been a campaign model for different sports brands such as Nike and Asics. I am currently sponsored by the supplement brand MyProtein.

My personal training method

Health, strength, diet. Each individual have different goals, and my job is to help you reach it — permanently. It is also a life commitment and has to be enjoyable. Therefore every program is customised to suit your needs and interests. Whether you have a nine-to-five desk job or are full-time parenting, we will together work towards your goals without disrupting your everyday lifestyle.
Consultation
Getting to know you, your body and your goals are detrimental to design a program that best suits you. During the first session, we will cover your exercise history and injuries, as well as lifestyle habits that might affect your fitness progress - such as nutrition and sleep quality.
Basic Assessment
To make great progress while avoiding injuries, technique and form are very important. Therefore we will make sure you have the correct movement patterns and posture. We will continuously assess your movements throughout every session. However the first few sessions we will focus particularly on this to teach the body proper form and to be able to have it come naturally during not only training, but also outside the gym.
Program Design
After getting to know you, we will design the best suited workout program for you, your body and your goals. My job is to help you reach your goals— permanently. Hence it is very important that this program is manageable and also enjoyable. Because let’s be honest, how can you commit to something you do not enjoy?
Nutrition
A very important step towards optimal health and fitness is finding out what works for you nutritionally. For that reason we will, if needed, review your current eating habits and give you tips and guidance on how to eat for the best results. Everyone is different and nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all, so we will help you discover the best way to eat for you and your body.
Continuous Updates and Modifications
We will periodically assess your body, movements, and progress to see exactly how your body is adapting to your training program. Based on the results, we can continuously update and make modifications to your exercise program so you never stop improving and

Locations
I offer training in gyms in Omotesando, Harajuku, Komazawa, your apartment building and hotel. If you are an outdoor-person, why not take it to the park?
